Exodus
Chapter 19 2 After the journey from Rephidim to the desert of Sinai, they pitched camp. While Israel was encamped here in front of the mountain, 3 Moses went up the mountain to God. Then the LORD called to him and said, "Thus shall you say to the house of Jacob; 4 tell the Israelites: You have seen for yourselves how I treated the Egyptians and how I bore you up on eagle wings and brought you here to myself. 5 Therefore, if you hearken to my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my special possession, dearer to me than all other people, though all the earth is mine. 6 1 You shall be to me a kingdom of priests, a holy nation. That is what you must tell the Israelites."

Romans
Chapter 5 6 For Christ, while we were still helpless, yet died at the appointed time for the ungodly. 7 Indeed, only with difficulty does one die for a just person, though perhaps for a good person one might even find courage to die. 1 8 But God proves his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. 9 How much more then, since we are now justified by his blood, will we be saved through him from the wrath. 10 Indeed, if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, once reconciled, will we be saved by his life. 11 Not only that, but we also boast of God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Matthew
Chapter 9 36 At the sight of the crowds, his heart was moved with pity for them because they were troubled and abandoned, 1 like sheep without a shepherd. 37 2 Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; 38 so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest."

The People who were given greater access to the Programmer encamped near Mt. Sinai.  Moses, who was given the greatest access to The Programmer, went up the mountain to The Programmer.  The Programmed told him,

"Tell the children of Jacob (grandson of Abraham, to whom The Programmer first granted greater access to Him) You've seen what My Programming Power did to your enslavers, the biggest, most powerful government on earth, and how I brought you here, to Me.  Because I have given you greater access to Me than other peoples, IF you obey My Operating Instructions, you will be my special possession, dearer to me than all others, though all is Mine.  You shall be to me a Kingdom of those who may access Me, a holy nation.  That's what you must tell the children of Israel."

The Living Program, only Son of The Programmer, died for those who had no relationship with The Programmer.  Think how hard that is to do.  It's hard to die for a good person, though it's possible.  But, The Program, (Jesus Christ, in perfect, loving, human form) allowed Himself to be erased (sacrificed) while we were still sinners.  Now that we have joined with The Program, we are joined with The Programmer, and will be saved from His wrath.  Even better, since His Blood justified us while we were His enemies.  Now that we are His friends, His living Power will bless us even more.  Not only that, but we can boast of The Programmer through Our Lord, The Living, Loving Program, who allows us access to, and downloads from, the Programmer.

When He saw the people looking for truth, His Sacred Heart pitied them because they were confused and abandoned, like sheep without a shepherd, like computers without programs. Then, He said to those who followed and obeyed Him, "The harvest (of souls) is abundant, but their are few working in the field.  So, ask The Programmer who programmed those souls to send out people to save them so that they may have access to, and be uploaded, to His Presence."
