Chapter 1

12 Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a sabbath day's journey away. 13 When they entered the city they went to the upper room where they were staying, Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas son of James. 14 All these devoted themselves with one accord to prayer, together with some women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.

Chapter 4 13 But rejoice to the extent that you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that when his glory is revealed you may also rejoice exultantly. 14 If you are insulted for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. 15 But let no one among you be made to suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as an intriguer. 16 But whoever is made to suffer as a Christian should not be ashamed but glorify God because of the name.

Chapter 17 1 1 2 When Jesus had said this, he raised his eyes to heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come. Give glory to your son, so that your son may glorify you, 2 3 just as you gave him authority over all people, so that he may give eternal life to all you gave him. 3 4 Now this is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ. 4 I glorified you on earth by accomplishing the work that you gave me to do. 5 Now glorify me, Father, with you, with the glory that I had with you before the world began. 6 "I revealed your name 5 to those whom you gave me out of the world. They belonged to you, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. 7 Now they know that everything you gave me is from you, 8 because the words you gave to me I have given to them, and they accepted them and truly understood that I came from you, and they have believed that you sent me. 9 I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for the ones you have given me, because they are yours, 10 and everything of mine is yours and everything of yours is mine, and I have been glorified in them. 11 And now I will no longer be in the world, but they are in the world, while I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are.

Catholic Fundamentalism Interpretation:

The early Church was unified.  No divisions had sundered the believers as they moved through the world toward prayer and closeness to The Programmer.

Peter, the First Pope, took precedence among the unified believers of the early Roman Catholic Church.

(The Program is clear) Be glad proportionately with your share in the sufferings of The Program (Jesus Christ in perfect, loving, human form).  When the earthly programs are erased, you will rejoice exultantly.  If you are demeaned for the sake of (loyalty to) The Program, you are blessed, because The Programmer is blessing you through The Holy Wireless Connector.  But, don't violate any of the Operating Instructions, don't kill, steal, do evil, or intrigue.  But, if you suffer because you do not renounce The Program Whom you have downloaded, don't be ashamed, but glorify The Programmer because you were named as being in The Program.

After Jesus had told them what would happen, He looked to Heaven and said, "Father (The Programmer), the First Programming Log has run its course.  Give glory to Your Son, (Your Program, in perfect, loving, human form) so that He may glorify You, just as You gave Him authority over all people, so that He may give access to The Eternal Life Download to all You gave Him.  Eternal Life means knowing You, The Unprogrammed Programmer, and the One You sent, Jesus Christ, (Your Program in perfect human form).  I glorified You on earth by doing what You wanted.  Now, glorify me, Loving Programmer, with the glory that I had with You before You programmed the world.  I revealed your name (implied, access code) to those whom You authorized with the password out of all the people on the world, and You gave them to Me, and they've obeying your Operating Instructions.  Now they know that access to eternal life (and everything else they have) is from You, because the passwords You gave to Me, I have given to them, and they downloaded them and understood that I came from You and they have believed that You have sent Me.  I pray for them.  I don't pray for the world, but for the ones You have Given me because they are Yours, and everything of Mine is yours and everything of Yours is Mine, and I've been glorified by their obedience to the New Operating Instructions.  Soon, I will not be in the world-program, but they are still in that program, while I am coming to You.  Most Holy Programmer, keep them in your name that You have given me, so that they may be One just as We are.  (The True Church in all readings today is One)
