The Kingdom of God on earth.

Traditionally, many Catholics have believed that the Kingdom of God on earth is the Catholic Church.  If so, those who make themselves part of that Church are living in the part of His Kingdom that is closest to He Who programmed all.

It's an important choice.  While some may be able to deal with The Programmer without His Sacraments, their absence makes closeness to God more difficult and may lead some souls to stray from the straight and narrow.

                                                    Always at least two sides.

Almost any human activity that can be identified has at least two sides.  The more popular activities have the most partisans.  There are many on different sides of food issues.  Vegetarians, salt-free diets, trans-fats, organic food, and hundreds of other issues divide people.

There are several sides to the abortion debates, ranging from the strictest pro-life views all the way to abortion on demand.  Environmental issues have partisans who believe in global warming, who don't believe, who think the air has to be cleaned more, who think the air is clean enough.

These conflicts are invented by people who profit from lies and dissension.  There is truth, and there are those who choose to oppose it.   The conflicts, themselves, are an important tool to divert all of us from working to get closer to The Programmer.

As we understand that telling or fighting against lies about the things and processes of the programmed universe simply distracts us from The Programmer, we are more immune to the attractions of such fights.

Automation gives humanity, as a whole, the opportunity to spend more time studying The Programmer and teaching themselves to obey Him.  It also gives us the opportunity to pile up more stuff.  To the other side, it gives people the time to get involved fighting silly, unnecessary battles, the waging of which often serves no purpose but to distract us from Him by compromising ourselves to get along.

                                                  Good neighbors to the North.

One of the great mysteries of North America is why so many Canadians trust their government while most Americans think their own government is a pack of liars.

Canadians seem to believe, for instance, in Global Warming to a far greater degree than those in the United States.  Americans, when confronted with climate-related excuses to frighten, tax, and regulate, roll their eyes and try to hold on to their wallets even as we scheme to replace the greediest and most self-serving politicians with those more likely to love their neighbors.

As one tiny example of Canadian trust in government, Canadians, despite their proximity to growing numbers of polar bears and the naturalists who count them, are more ready to believe that those same bears are getting ever-closer to extinction.

They are generally more concerned about Imaginary Problems as rising sea levels, air pollutants, and whatever alarms du jour they are told about by an obedient, but remarkably literate, media.  Indeed, Canadian newspapers are so well-written that Canada's better-educated citizens can most reasonably find them convincing.

The Canadian mind has adapted to the dichotomy between government falsehood and reality by becoming extremely complex.   Indeed, having to live amidst so many lies, the intellectual ability of Canadians is extremely high.

Americans are far more simple-minded.  We will react, with knee-jerk speed, "Our government has a lot of liars in it, and this is another one of their d*****d lies." is how we greet most government proclamations.   The Canadian mind is far more sophisticated.  It can maintain a dual reality.  The majority of Canadians know that "If I need an MRI, it will take six months, and I may die from a disease our health service refuses to even identify, much less treat." even while they insist, "Our health care system is the best in the world."

Even while they are saying this, they are seeking information about medical centers in Ohio, Michigan, and Minnesota where they, or their loved ones, can obtain prompt medical care when they need it.

Since Canadians and Americans share so much common history, this difference between the two peoples is remarkable.  It may be that, since many supporters of George III preferred to move to Canada than rebel against the monarchy, they have influenced Canadian culture to be more accepting of government than is the case in a nation founded by their more revolutionary brothers and sisters.

It's hard to tell who was right, those who participated in America's Revolution or those who were loyal to the King.  Both countries have ended up being run by far greater tyrannies than either George III or America's Founding Fathers ever dreamed of.

                                                         Professorial haters.

Those most vulnerable to technology hate it the most.  When we look at the hundreds of thousands of college professors, we are struck with one fact:  few of them are necessary.  If teaching were like the acting profession in the private sector, the very best teachers of each subject would teach, while the rest, at best, would have low-paid supporting roles.  There used to be many, many actors, all performing on different vaudeville stages all over the country.  Today, with films and broadcasting, he best actors are in movies and television.  A few "stars" replace thousands of actors who once performed on the thousands of inefficient, individual stages that were built in most small towns.

The need for American college professors would drop to, maybe, a dozen or so in each subject.  Their classes would be broadcast, and students would take those classes on line, or by downloading, until they knew enough to pass the required tests.  Then, they would download the next class.  While some believe in "individual instruction", there are few questions that haven't been answered.  The internet does so with amazing efficiency.

Professorial ranks have not been winnowed by what is now old technology.  The reason is clear.  Colleges are not for teaching.  They exist to provide jobs for the party faithful, social indoctrination, unemployment control, and certification to ensure that the dumbest possible person can be said to be "qualified".

Colleges are useful tools of excessive government.  The four or five years that most undergraduates spend in getting largely useless degrees keeps them from having children during the most fruitful time of their lives.  It keeps them immersed in the sea of relativity in which many of them drown.  They learn that they, just like Pavlov's dogs, will be rewarded for parroting the lies and beliefs that enhance the power of the state.

Few professors have the intellectual honesty to admit that they are, in essence, replaceable by crude video-conferencing and broadcasting equipment.  Mark Twain summed it up:  "It's hard to make a man understand the truth if his job depends on not understanding it."

Tax-supported professors do have a vague awareness that their continued employment is utterly dependent on the whims of elected officials.   Their jobs may, in times of budget constraints, be vulnerable to the centralization of talent that took place in acting.  So, political contributions must be made, and that is why they have unions.

That often dim awareness of their basic "unnecessaryness" drives many professors to leftist positions.  Many did not begin as leftists, but moved that way as they saw the rewards to loyal leftists in jobs, tenure, pensions, and benefits.  The more unnecessary and replaceable any group becomes, the farther to the left they tend to be.   As they move left, their hatred becomes more strident.  Soon, they are driven to criticize virtually every aspect of the societies around them, ignoring the fact that only the taxation levels that private-sector automation can provide will produce enough to pay their large salaries.

                                                   Wisdom comes from above.

Those who do not ask the Holy Wireless Connector for wisdom are easily distracted by press releases.  They will argue among themselves, for instance, about global warming, air pollution, trans-fats, new-math, and the host of funding opportunities masquerading as Imaginary Problems which which we are regaled.

The Holy Wireless Connector provides us with the wisdom to see the desire for gain behind such things.  More importantly for our salvation, He will continually instruct us to love the people involved, even the greediest, most pathetically obvious liars among them.

The biggest step we can take toward sanity is asking The Holy Wireless Connector to keep us in contact with The Programmer and The Program.    Then, whenever we need it, we are reminded that any "problem" is an opportunity for gain, and we are given the sense to know who's gaining from each lie.

As we grow in understanding, we don't waste time arguing with our neighbors about that day's Imaginary Problems.  We focus on the vastly more important issue of having our soul spend eternity in the company of The Programmer, Program, and Holy Wireless Connector.

We mustn't let ourselves turn into pillars of salt.

Most of us remember the story of Lot and his family.  When The Programmer decided to erase the sinners of Sodom and Gomorrah, He gave Lot and his family the opportunity to download themselves on another disc.  "Don't look back.", they were warned.

Just like Eve before her, Lot's wife disobeyed.  She turned back to see the city being destroyed for the sins of its inhabitants.  She, as Eve, was punished for the sin of disobedience.

Many of us are haunted by our old sins.  Often, we are transfixed as we realize the horrible things in our past;  the feelings we've hurt, the people we've damaged, and the ways we have hurt ourselves.

"Don't look back." applies to us, as well as to Lot's wife.  If we look back at our sins, the disrupting viruses may enter us again.  "We really weren't that bad.", they sometimes say, hoping they and their friends can get back in our minds.

Once we have been forgiven, the straight and narrow path is opened between us and The Programmer.  As soon as we turn around to look upon the evil behind us, we are in danger of straying from that path.

As we keep our eyes on the prize of salvation, and draw closer to Him, we should leave our sins behind us.  That's where He wants them to be.

Remember, Dante called it "The Divine Comedy".

Most of us enjoy the blatant inconsistencies, and outright lies, of those on the left.  The obviousness with which trade their eternal souls for short-term gain is a never ending source of both amusement and sorrow.

The funniest aspect of their self-righteous swagger into the pit is that they think they are being intelligent, regardless of how irrational the boobery they embrace.   Their desire to seem "intelligent", as defined by popular media, far outweighs the desire to spend eternity in joy.

We see them frolic in oceans of lies, spewing forth what they have swallowed each time their head emerges from the seas of deception.  Nothing they say is right, yet all believe themselves to be highly intelligent.  To them, intelligence is defined as "the ability to repeat what our leaders say while nodding wisely".

The only critical thinking they are encouraged, or allowed, to do is to undermine the credibility of every human activity except their own.   We who believe in God are routinely demonized, castigated, and attacked at every opportunity.  Loving those who attack us is simply a way to earn Heaven credits.

While suffering their depredations, we can't forget to laugh.  "The poor, damned fools would rather lose their souls than a nickel."   With every lie and theft, their souls send themselves to places of ever greater pain.  When reminded of this possibility, they will attack with renewed fury, sinking themselves further into the agony beyond.

                                                                Slavery.

Even today, Africans are frequently kidnapped, sold as slaves, and worked mercilessly to death in the Middle East.  No one, except the slaves, complains.  Children are routinely sold into slavery in Thailand.  After having been horribly abused by those who insist they are not perverted, they are discarded.  Chinese and North Korean prison camps force unpaid millions into factories, farms, and mines.  No sense of outrage greets these egregious attacks on human dignity.

The Christian and formerly Christian countries do have slavery, but it's part time.  About half of our wages and salaries are confiscated by various government entities.  So, we labor in what is slavery for about half of each year.  Should we have the gall to complain, we are thought to be "selfish" by those who want to take more from us.

There seems to be no end of souls so lacking in love that they don't mind enslaving their neighbors "because we just need a little bit more".  Each tax increase is to provide that "little bit more".  Like termites nibbling at a beam, their nibbling will eventually cause the collapse of freedom as being anything more than an illusion.

As freedom collapses, more direct forms of slavery are imposed.  Those who prey upon their neighbors will continue, for all of their lives, to believe they "need a little bit more".

And, they'll get it.  But, as Dante describes, they get far, far more after their souls leave their bodies.

                                                            Hatred and abortion.

Most of us have a hard time imagining how much hatred there is in the leftist soul.  When we see leftist protestors, and witness their storms of stupidity ("I hate Ronald Ray-gun!" was an infallible moron-identifier), profanity, and violence, we see people whose souls are lost.

We are innocent enough to think, "Surely, they can't believe what they're saying."  They do.  They actually believe what they say.  Just loving God and neighbor indicates the love in a soul, hating God and neighbor shows the degree of hate.

Abortion gives us a gruesome way to calculate hate.  The most hate-filled souls are those who believe they are justified in killing children in late term abortions.  Slightly less filled with hate are those who believe in second-trimester abortions.  Believers in early-term abortions seem to have slightly less hate.  Those who don't mind killing embryos with birth-control abortificants are still taking lives, but don't register as high on the Hate-o-Meter.  They hide their hatred with lies of the "It's not really a baby." variety.  They do not want to kill babies, so they define "baby" in such a way that they are not destroying one.

It takes a miracle to change hate to love, but miracles are the specialties of angels and saints.  We must pray for hate-filled souls to reverse their spiritual polarity and love their neighbors.  It's one of the most important things we can do.

When standing outside an abortion clinic, pleading with mothers not to hurt their babies, we deal directly with one group who needs our prayers to save their souls.  These are the "deathscorts".  Often related to the "nurses" who work in the clinic, they race the women though the pro-life people quickly, so they don't have a chance to listen to love or reason.

Often, I had an opportunity to speak with a particular "deathscort".  His wife worked in the "clinic", and he was expected to show up every Saturday morning.  That's when the pro-life protesters, and the clinic's customers, were most numerous.  Usually, the boyfriend would drop off the pregnant girlfriend, who was quickly escorted to the abortuary by one of the "deathscorts".

This particular "deathscort" had made himself utterly and completely oblivious to the fact that he was helping murder unborn children.  He gave no thought to the fact that he was keeping these mothers from a last chance to think about what they were doing.  He thought little of the pliers and chemicals being used inside, or of the tiny babies on which they were being used.  He only wanted to make sure that his part of the abortion process, getting pregnant women into the clinic, ran smoothly and efficiently.

His resentment that we were there was palpable;  not because we were trying to stop him from doing something bad, but because we were interfering with a process he thought should have been free from interruptions.  Those who ran guillotines and gas chambers for earlier generations of hate-filled leftists could not have been any less, or any more, heartless in making sure the lines moved quickly.

Sometimes, we would see the "doctors" entering the abortuary.  They drove expensive automobiles, wore expensive suits, and looked very prosperous.  Once, I asked, "Doc, do they pay you double for twins?".  He looked puzzled, not because he had been asked a hard question, but because he had obviously not thought to ask for a "bonus".

Once, the owner of the abortuary was called.  As she got out of her car, she loudly announced, "I am Mrs. Litman." to the waiting policemen.   Students from a Catholic college (The University of Steubenville) had somehow gotten a couple of buckets of tar into the building, and poured it in the waiting room.  Far more policemen than were usually there immediately appeared.

Not one officer was at all concerned about the babies being brutally pulled apart, but all were very worried about Mrs. Litman's property being damaged by the tar.  The students were quickly arrested, and one or two of the policemen got tar on their clothes, as did several of the students.  Fortunately, there was no police brutality.  Prior to this incident, several policemen were accused of severely beating and jailing pro-life demonstrators without charges.

A much older newspaper reporter stood near me.  "You don't have to worry," he explained, "until they take off their badges so no one can see their numbers.  That's when things are going to get really bad."

One of the students had a video camera.  The police took it.  I asked the Lieutenant if he was going to get it back, and he assured me that he would.

The episode was over in half an hour.  Then, the waiting cars drove up, and the impatient boyfriends dropped off their girlfriends to have their babies killed.

By now, poor Mrs. Litman has probably gone to judgment.  One doubts that proclaiming, on arrival, "I am Mrs. Litman!" with the pride with which she used to announce her presence will predispose St. Peter to decide in her favor.

All of us should be concerned about the part the souls of the aborted babies will have in our own judgment.  If we, by thoughts, words, and actions cannot show we've answered correctly, "Is it nothing, to you who pass by?", how much better off will we be than poor Mrs. Litman?

                                                        Deathbed conversions.

The Church teaches that 100% of the souls who willingly die in a state of mortal sin are sent to the proper part of The Inferno.  She also teaches that some souls are purified by Purgatory, after which they ascend to Heaven if, unlike Lot's wife, they do not look back.  A fortunate soul may go directly to Heaven when it leaves its body.

One Catholic priest summed up his life's work: "I want to get people into Purgatory."  To that end, Dante tells us how important deathbed conversions are.

Few things are more heart-breaking than deathbed conversions to the other side.  They spend lots of time and energy getting people to sin.  There's they hate more than a sinner repenting seconds before his soul leaves his body.

Most evangelists focus on the here and now, urging "Repent, and be saved.".  It's also important to encourage a focus on the future.  "You may be so caught up enjoying the things The Programmer programmed, including yourself, that you just can't bear to let yourself think you're doing anything wrong.  Remember, you have until the very moment your soul leaves your body to access The Programmer.  It's not wise to put it off, since there is a risk that you may die so suddenly you don't have time to ask Him for forgiveness, but it doesn't have to be done right this second.  Think about it."

We can logically infer that many lasting conversions took place in the baskets beneath the guillotines.

No sunspots yesterday.  A sign from the Heavens?

Usually, the half of the sun facing us is marked with big, black, blotchy spots.  Not today.

There is a positive correlation between sunspots and solar output.  There is also a correlation between solar output and the temperature of the planets.

In recent years, there have been lots of sunspots.  And, the temperatures of Earth, Mars, and Neptune have been rising.  When there are no sunspots, planetary temperatures begin to drop.   We can, if this "sunspotless" condition persists, predict a colder-than-average winter.

One wonders if the ancient astronomers of Egypt and Babylon made lenses from glass or rock crystal, smoked them, and were able predict weather by counting sunspots.

Actual photo of the sun, today compared with what the sun usually looks like.

                                              Ozone.  Precursor to bigger lies.

Remember when freon from air conditioners was said to be destroying the ozone layer?  A huge "ozone hole" had been appearing over the South Pole.  It had been doing so forever, it seems.  While wags were suggesting that penguins should be fitted for sunglasses, greedy, clever people were at work.  They claimed "irreversible damage" was occurring to the "precious atmosphere" because of freon.

Before the "ozone hole" scare, we used to be able to go to a K-Mart and buy cans of freon for a dollar to recharge our car's air conditioning system.  When stores and businesses needed to recharge their air conditioners, chillers, and freezers they simply bought freon and put it where it was needed.

The "ozone hole" was said to prove there was "man-made destruction of our fragile atmosphere".  Enough legislators suddenly believed in it that over-the-counter purchases of freon were stopped.  Now, the same amount of freon in the .99 cent can costs fifteen dollars.  The cost of freon hasn't changed, but the profit margins have gone through the roof.

Those profit margins funded a generation of "environmentally concerned" groups.  Since those high prices have been institutionalized, many people can no longer afford to be comfortable.

Those same margins also allowed huge bribes, oops, "campaign contributions" to be made.  Since most elections are close, an extra few hundred thousand dollars makes the difference between winning and losing.  The "ozone profiteers", mostly freon makers, put their candidates in office.

That success allowed the big thinkers on the Left to go farther.  Disregarding volcanoes, forest fires, and dust storms, they insisted that "It is the duty of all mankind to clean up all the land, air, and water to protect future generations."

Now, the lies have reached even more gargantuan proportions.  "It is the duty of all mankind to maintain the temperature of the entire planet."

Babylon, in all its glory, never thought of lies so big.

The Culture of Death wants everything to die.

It takes awhile to comprehend the number and enormity of the lies with which we are barraged.  Every human being and institution is under attack by the Death Culture's lies.

The Programmer has allowed for enough freedom to allow all of us to see that the The Culture of Death's lies is always headed for Jonestown.   Marxist Gulags.  The Great Leap Forward.  Endless Five Year Plans.  Gas Chambers.

When we see lies, for instance, about the newly popular "Global Warming", it's important to see it as another excuse for the rationing of food and energy around the globe.  Such rationing will destroy every economy, while raising governments' power to absolute degrees, always the goals of The Culture of Death.

To them, everything that exists is an opportunity to gain power by destroying others.  Catholic Fundamentalists see that the afterlife suffering those in The Culture of Death are inflicting on themselves is commensurate with the agony they caused their neighbors.  By some sort of weird balance, their pain and suffering is directly related to the joy and ecstasy provided to those who loved their enemies.

The Programmer in Heaven not only keeps track of every action, but also, of every thought and word.  When any person thinks or says cruel things, they are entered in the ether-disc beyond, and that is played back to us and to our final Judge.

We who have not become damnably hardened in The Culture of Death may change our thoughts, words, and deeds to be pro-life.  If we do, we have a chance at joining The Programmer, Program, and Holy Wireless Connector forever in the Kingdom of God.

If Saul of Tarsus, who fanatically helped kill early believers, can turn from the Culture of Death to the Love of God, nearly anyone can.

The Culture of Death attacks time.

Time, according to the First Programming Log, began ten or twelve thousand years ago, when The Programmer programmed everything He wanted programmed.  The Culture of Death, in order to diminish God's importance, has convinced most people that the Old Testament is wrong, and that the world is billions of years old.  And, when we look at, and under, our globe, many agree.  "How else could there be so many complicated layers of so many things?" is not an unreasonable question.

Catholic Fundamentalists reply:  "For The Programmer's goals to be met, human beings had to have free will.  To provide that, He programmed a world that we could freely believe to be billions of years old, or merely thousands of years old.  He programmed radioactive processes, seams of coal, remnants of ancient organisms, everything that every age would need to justify not obeying Him."

The Culture of Death will insist that their purported age of the earth is "reasonable".  They cannot, or will not, see that simply giving God the credit for the incredible programming He did to provide us with free will ties His Programming Log (Scripture) perfectly into science.

Those who value things that were programmed more than The Programmer will never understand that our faith and obedience is more important to His than our comparatively pathetic reasoning abilities.

                                                                185,000

     We may remember the passage,

"The Assyrian came down, like the wolf on the fold,

And his cohorts were gleaming in purple and gold."

That's how Lord Byron began his description of Sennacherib's attack on Jerusalem around 701 BC.  The First Programming Log (Old Testament, 2 Kings, 19:35) described what happened when 185,000 Assyrians prepared to attack God's holy people in His holy city.

The priests and people prayed for deliverance.  Their prayers were heard, and answered.  The Programmer's top programming assistants wiped out the entire Assyrian force in one night.

We who love truth and life are still under attack by Assyrian equivalents.  If enough of us begged The Programmer to protect us by reprogramming 185,000 of the most destructive human programs, we would get the same results as did the residents of Jerusalem.  He frequently reprogrammed people.  St. Paul's vision, blindness, and conversion are a perfect example.

We do not know who the 185,000 of life's worst enemies are.  There are invisible destroyers calling the shots behind the front lines of those who publicly attack life and truth.   So, it's best to leave the selection of the 185,000 people whose reprogramming would do the most good up to The Programmer.

He knows who they are, and, if we ask, He'll take care of them.

     We may request programming assistance:

"Dear Heavenly Father, since You are the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, You love us as much as you loved those who believed in You 2700 years ago.  Please protect us the way you protected them against worshippers of false gods.  Please reprogram the 185,000 most dangerous to your faithful so they will love You and their neighbors."

Power to the people or to the Marxist/Moslem axis?

Enemies of life and freedom are always on the attack.  Since the earliest Marxists, ever-larger sections of the economy have been put under government control.

Why have environmentalists have worked so hard to keep private power companies from building more nuclear plants?  They are being paid to do so.

The entire Russian economy is built on high energy prices.  Huge gas and oil fields supply them with very cheap energy products.  Grossly high energy prices are the only thing that keeps their nation afloat.

Moslem economies are equally dependent on selling cheap gas and oil at insanely high profit margins.  Neither Marxists nor Moslems want their enemies in the more Christian counties to develop their own power sources.  So, their subordinates in environmental movements work to stop nuclear reactors from being built, using fears generated by junk science and lots of campaign contributions to destroy our economies.

Their bribes and "campaign contributions" have made all of us pay excessively for power.  We are weakened economically as more and more money is sent overseas to pay for needlessly expensive energy.

Most politicians are aware of this, but are too afraid of the Marxist/Moslem bloc and their media- entrenched shills to do anything about it.

In a democracy, elections are decided by how much money candidates can raise.  Thanks to the exorbitant profit margins flowing to foreign oil and gas producers, they have endless cash to make those campaign contributions.

Our continued impoverishment is assured, due to the fear and venality of what appear to be "elected" officials and the false fears of nuclear power that have been spread throughout the most credulous segment of the population.

                                                        Lots and lots of wars.

                                                                 Hot wars.

Until WWII, Western elites kept their populations in check with wars.  After WWII, American communists made sure that their Moscow bosses knew how to make atomic bombs.  Nuclear bombs are so powerful that, in a war, the elites may be damaged by their use.  So, there hasn't been a major war between large countries.  Now, they use birth control and abortion, balanced with immigration, to limit their populations.

                                                                Cold wars.

Those who'd profited from endless war were able to maintain the fiction that a perpetual war machine had to be maintained, and did so.  That came to a stop when the Americans, under President Reagan, developed the concept of "Star Wars", in which "smart rocks" would stop incoming missiles.  At that point, the Russians could no longer maintain their credibility as a military power, and the Cold War ended for awhile.

                                                                Trade Wars.

Trade Wars are always going on.  After the war, Japan and Germany were allowed to import lots of products into the U.S. in order to rebuild their societies after the war.  Then, Taiwan was allowed to do the same in order to make enough money to buy weapons to defend themselves from China.  South Koreans were allowed to increase their imports to the US, for the same reason.  Now, Chinese manufacturers, many operating with slave labor, are being used to destroy manufacturers all over the world.  That makes people more dependent on their governments, which have become the largest provider of middle-class salaries, and are ever dependent upon impoverishing their own people.

                                                               Energy Wars

Most Communist and Moslem countries have systematically eliminated so many on the far right of the intellectual bell curve that they can no longer compete in the modern world.  The only way they have to make money is to pump gas and oil out of the ground and sell it to the West while keeping Western countries from competing with them.   In the recent past, Moslem countries were allowed to raise oil prices as long as they used a large part of their profits to buy arms from the West.  Now, they can buy many weapons more cheaply from Communist Chinia.  This still does not leave any money for most Moslems, who continue to survive on the few crumbs that increasingly wealthy princes occasionally sprinkle around.

Communist countries have long had a powerful presence in leftist media and politics.  To protect both the Communist and Moslem cash flows, well-bribed leftist agencies simply focused their media and political power on various environmental insanities to keep Western countries from achieving their own energy independence.

                                                              Religious Wars

Christians have not begun religious wars in Europe or Asia since the 13th century.  Their wars were essentially defensive in nature, though most Westerners are never taught that the Crusades were fought to protect Christian countries from endless Moslem attacks, ususally in search of slaves.

Communist countries have a different version of the same motive.  They have their own, godless religion whose teachings they try to impose on everyone.  The first casualty of religious wars is the freedom of people to choose their own religions.

Even while they are saying this, they are seeking information about medical centers in Ohio, Michigan, and Minnesota where they, or their loved ones,
