At least, some of them try to look useful.
A century and a half ago, nine out of every ten Americans worked in agriculture. Others worked in mining and manufacturing, which at the time, was so small-scale it was called "smithing". A person could learn to be a blacksmith, silversmith, goldsmith, or tinsmith and support himself and his family.
There weren't a lot of idlers. Each time a job was amalgamated or automated, people were put out of work. Each factory eliminated thousands of jobs.
Henry Ford put lots of smaller automakers out of business, along with all the wagon-makers. At the same time, tractors and combines put small farmers out of work. People moved to cities, and worked in factories.
As factories got bigger and more efficient, fewer people made more things. More people found jobs that didn't exist a few years before.
Some of the new jobs were in government. Some government positions do nothing useful. Now, there are more government jobs than ever. Some are worse than useless. They are designed to be intentionally harmful. That provides excuses to hire even more to pretend to solve the problems created by earlier groups.
This country, like Rome, grows top-heavy. It will either collapse or we will have a "National Leader", like Augustus or Tiberius. This is dangerous. For every Tiberius, there is a Nero.
Catholic Fundamentalists think we should have a King, like we do in Heaven. The best way to select our King is to find the person with the most Davidic genetic material. Shouldn't be hard.
A King who relies on the power of The Church to stay in office has, at least, one reason to be kind, forgiving, and loving.

Greedy Americans gave Cuba to the Communists. Why?
Whether it's Persian Gold bribing a Roman or American senator, or ordinary bribes under the table, Catholic Fundamentalists always look to the money.
Looking at 'who benefits' shows us why Castro was allowed to take power in Cuba. The most valuable real estate in North America is along the coast. Limiting the supply of accessible coastline increases the value of remaining coastal property.
Few places are as beautiful and varied as Cuba's 4,000 miles of coastline. It's much nicer than the unrelieved flatness of Florida, and the air-time to Cuba is only a few minutes more than a trip to Miami. The billions of dollars that would have been spent in a free Cuba, on beachfront property alone, were directed to Florida, instead.
Many groups of selfish Americans benefited by keeping other Americans from being able to buy affordable Cuban coastal properties. First and foremost, those who survive and thrive on property taxes, the teachers' unions, wanted American real estate to be more valuable so they could get more money from it. Their Marxist beginnings gave them an innate affinity for Fidel.
Oil companies were not interested in developing new fields. They had established cash flows from existing fields all over the world, and new fields around Cuba would interrupt them.
Cuba was also ripe for American business interests. Lack of unions, Batista's let-live government of moderate, comfortable corruption, and proximity to the United States made Cuba a potential beehive of activity, much of which would have been transferred from big U.S. commercial interests.
Cuba was also strongly Catholic. No modern government approves of that. A generation or two of thieving, bloodthirsty Marxists greatly weakened the Church's power in Cuba, causing great joy among the Church's enemies.
Those are some of the reasons US economic interests gave Cuba and its people to Castro and his goons.
And, piling lie upon lie to heights of magnificent splendor, the same U.S. interests that wanted a free Cuba eliminated as an economic competitor blame all the problems on their allies, the Communists.

Prayer triage.
As you may know, triage is used by good doctors want to avoid treating someone who’s sure to die quickly and help a person who, with immediate help, can recover. Triage puts an order as to when people are treated. (On The Lie Committee section of this site, The Medical Lies Committee wants to redefine “triage” to "maximizing the harvest transplantable and salable organs.)
There is triage in Heaven. God is besieged by billions of prayers, every day. They range from the ever-popular “Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes-Benz?” to “Please, help me find a job.”
When Protestants pray, they try to get through to God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Catholics also ask the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit for help. Additionally, we ask Mary, Joseph, St. Anthony, and thousands of other Saints who have close connections to God to intercede for us.
When two prayers are received with equal urgency and importance, Mary’s requests are heard first. Then, St. Joseph’s. Then, the other Saints'.
Protestant requests go to celestial in-boxes. Many are answered, but God alone knows how He sorts them out.
Catholic prayers generally get through faster, if only because Catholics tend to send their prayers through specialists. It takes, for instance, some doing to get the Heavenly forces together to have a child conceived, and Catholics have Saints who specialize in that. It’s hard to find something that’s lost, but St. Anthony knows just how to make that intercession when asked.
All Catholics, and non-Catholics who know how odds work, should send a little money every year to some holy organization named after a Saint whom they're likely to need. Think of it as high-level insurance.
Protestants and Jews should learn a few of the basic saints in order to have their prayers answered more quickly. After it happens a few times, they become friendlier to The Church that canonized the Holy Saint who helped them.

Catholicism makes us smarter.
Each human's thinking ability is limited by faith. Simple societies who believe in simple deities are wrong about many things. Very primitive societies do not even have words for numbers higher than three or four.
The other side likes ignorance because it keeps people operating at levels useful to them. They want people to believe, for instance, that government is their friend. It's easier to collect taxes from people who think that.
Those who believe in the state violate the First Commandment, believing that something is more important than God. Their minds can see neither past failures and the inevitability of future failures. Violating the First Commandment destroys the ability to recognize cause and effect, keeping disobedient minds from truth.
Similarly, those driven by lust cannot comprehend how the mind is freed by chastity.
Lust destroys morals. First, the mind is disordered, then destroyed by sin made manifest in the many sexually transmitted diseases.
Despite the worldly belief that IQ is the mental age divided by the chronological age,
(how many really know it's not the other way around?) intelligence actually equals closeness to God in thought, word, and deed.
The largest and oldest of the Christian denominations is the closest to God and Scripture, and, therefore, produces the smartest people. Oddly, those who are outside that faith are thought to be brighter than the saints most deeply into it. Isaac Newton, for instance, is thought by the worldly to be smarter than St. Thomas Aquinas. Karl Marx is thought to know more about politics than St. Augustine, whose City of God is certainly a better place to live than Marx's fallen paradises.

Big problems with polygamy.
Polygamy causes problems. Rich men get all the women. In their innermost minds, poorer men hate the religion that derived them of wife and children. They are forced to direct that hatred outward, toward the rich, monogamous cultures around them.
Polygamists encourage young men to blow themselves up. Every young man who destroys himself lessens competition for wives, lessens the chances for revolution, and weakens their opposition.
Polygamous societies produce so many angry young men that they can only survive by massive public controls. Forcing people to religious services several times a day gives secret police ample opportunities to search for evidence of dissidence.
Polygamy brings about two major problems. First, government has to be oppressive enough to keep people from revolting against the concentration of wealth in ever fewer families. The second problem takes longer to surface. The children of polygamists tend to "deviate to the mean".
Genetically, and statistically, intellects become mediocre. There aren't any Thomas Edisons among them. Their intellectual "advances" can only come by copying the creations brought to light by the brighter, more intellectually diverse children of monogamy.
The Christian countries are hated, on the surface, for having better living conditions. Those better living conditions are the result of having smarter people freer to do what they do best. Both freedom and genetic diversity are destroyed by polygamy.
Christian countries do something else that makes polygamous countries even worse. They encourage the very smartest of their men to come to the west, where they are given high-paying jobs as physicians and engineers. That further impoverishes polygamous gene pools of all but the mediocre.
Each generation sinks farther away from the creative genius that monogamous cultures regularly produce.

Polygamy. More is less.
After fifteen or twenty years, problems arise in polygamous households. There are young men the same age as their father's youngest wives. If the father cannot afford eunuch guards over a sequestered harem, he has to force the young men to leave.
Every wife who's not the mother of the young man-to-be-sent-away wants him gone. That leaves more assets for them and their children. Once the young men are gone, competition for household money keeps investments from being made in their educations. They are on their own.
Such young men, usually sons of less favored wives, are driven into the company of other young men evicted for similar reasons. All of them are angry. Few of them have futures. All of them know they have been treated unfairly. They are frustrated because there's nothing they can do about the unfairness they know will destroy them.
As long as rulers can keep these disaffected, homeless young men focused on hating their neighbors, they are a political asset. First, directing anger at others keeps their own country safer from revolution.
Since wealth and wives are concentrated in the hands of a few, bribery, with money and daughters, keeps the angry young men in line. By bribing a few of these young men, and jailing a few others, the rest are immobilized. Better yet, they may be forced to leave the country, where they become someone else's problem.
Under-educated, unskilled, and easily led, they are the vanguard of sabotage and invasion in every country that is their enemy. They are carefully taught that every country is their enemy.
Such angry young men see advantages in seeking a glorious end. It's the only way many of them have to get what they really want; their own harem of seventy two virgins, far more than their father had.

Definitions help or hinder our journey to truth.
Everyone looks for universal truths. Here's today's: All the problems in the world are caused by inadequate definitions of God.
Catholic Fundamentalists go through life with fewer problems because they define God in such a way that they see their place in His Plan. Their definition: God is The Unprogrammed Programmer.
It is a basic tenet of Catholic Fundamentalism that God can program in three dimensions. He can program particles. Better yet, He can program beings that can program particles. The nine orders of Angels are actually sub-programmers who compiled and put into motion all the processes necessary for the universe to run.
It's pretty obvious that "The Unprogrammed Programmer" is the same as Aquinas's "Unmoved Mover", updated for our time.
Those who value their vanity have a negative response to finding out that their lives are something like a character in a very realistic cartoon. Pride keeps them from seeing that God has that much power.
Catholic Fundamentalism reduces each of us to minor characters in a pre-programmed universe that's several steps ahead of a computer-generated movie. The difference between us and movie characters is that we have free will, (which comes from the Catholic part of Catholic Fundamentalism) and can decide whether or not to love or hate our neighbor.
When we understand that neighbors who do bad things do so because they are incapable of recognizing a higher moral authority, we see how important it is to be sure they understand God's best definition: The Unprogrammed Programmer Who programs in three dimensions.

Scenic Highway Robbery
Older citizens remember how President Johnson worked to remove billboards from highways and how much his family’s broadcasting company increased in value as a result.
Junior Marxists have again decided that we shouldn’t be free to put up more road signs on our own property. As Scripture says, “The dog returneth to its vomit”.
One reason for prohibiting signs: Junior Marxists hate the thought of someone putting up billboards pointing out their many, many failures:
“You are entering the Village of Big Hoot. Ten million dollars was spent on its beautification and infrastructure. Since then, six businesses closed and there has been a 17% population decline. Wells and septic tanks are now illegal, and no one can afford tap-in fees.”
Such successes make Junior Marxists rejoice. If people don’t have the right to use their own land for legal purposes, their land is worth less. Then, Junior Marxists can buy it cheaply. They want all the land there is for nature reserves, conservation easements, parks, trails, precious watersheds (is there a watershed that isn’t precious in your yard?), scenic vistas, game lands, national forests, state forests, flood protection, and anything else that justifies taking property from private citizens and puts it under Jr. Marxist control.
In any county, in any month, dozens of Jr. Marxists are planning more ways to “help”. They live to meddle. God, alone, knows why.
Those who try to love our neighbors, rather than tax them, can’t understand the dark desires that drive Junior Marxists to add to the vast wastelands they’ve already made out of formerly productive properties. If we question them, they use the very same words that Senior Marxists used when machine-gunning helpless Ukrainians, “It’s for your own good.”
The only problem with any economy is that too many elected officials lack the courage to keep Junior Marxists from taking working peoples’ money and wasting it on hare-brained schemes.
The Junior Marxists’ latest lie: “If we get rid of road signs, we protect rural vistas. Then, throngs of rich, cash-spewing tourists will drive here from adjoining states. They have a pent-up desire to spend their weekends driving from one of our state's exotic towns to another and spend lots of money in each one. Really, they do.”
Jr. Marxists’ superstitions are on an intellectual par with the Hopi Indians’ belief that specially choreographed dances would cause rain to fall. Deserts follow such thinking as surely as the night the day.

Locked in.
Many in the west are surprised that terrorists are coming from the grandchildren of immigrants to their countries.
We are also surprised that nearly all immigrant men, women, and children from the Middle East, no matter how many generations they've been in their new country, are fully supportive of all terrorist activity.
Exposure to Western civilization is not as inherently enlightening as believed.
Women and children who grow up to support terrorists have been kept in bondage. Many cannot think independently. They've never learned to do anything but what they're told. In their hearts, there is no desire to be free. In fact, they make every effort to see that their own daughters are similarly raised, and often mutilated.
Despite bravado and bluster, they are a timorous and frightened people. They are afraid of freedom, and embrace their chains. They are afraid of innovation, and retreat to the past.
As seen in the Armenian genocide, they do not hesitate to wipe out peoples smarter than themselves. There is no rest for them. Once they've purged their areas of smarter, kinder, nicer people, they destroy less extreme sects of their own religion. The more fanatic wipe out the less fanatic and are proud to do so.
If it weren't for their self-imposed duty to exterminate the Christians and Hindus around them, they'd have little to do, except to rot away after they'd killed each other, stifled on their own self-righteousness.

Children's poem.
Some folks were pickin' berries on the berm beside the road.
To help, they had a good-sized herd, a hundred well-trained toads.
When a toad would spot a berry, out it’s long tongue would shoot,
And pull the berry gently down, to a box beside its boots.
I stopped 'n stared 'n stayed to ask how they trained the toads to work.
An owner turned and answered me, "A good toad will not shirk.
A well-bred toad lives but to serve, and do what he is told
Until it reaches three or four, and starts to get too old.
By then they tend to wander off, and forget what they’ve to do.
They're off a chasin' bugs or worms, no good to me or you.
But while they’re young, we work them hard, and they enjoy their work.
They love to pick fresh berries, and they like to prune and lurk
Beneath the bushes to eat flies and other kinds of pests
Before they get their tummies full and take a little rest.
We’ve got the finest herd of toads of any pickin’ crew.
We won first prize at the County Fair, and that was hard to do.
Each toad wears tailored coveralls, with buttons made of gold.
We glue a handle on each one, so they're easier to hold.
When they’ve picked all the berries, we take them for a hop
Down to the nearest pigsty. They love the nice, refreshin' slop.
Then, a quick trip to the pool, and clean up with a swim,
And, back home to the toad house, and then we tuck them in."

Ignorance, better than bliss.
The other side has many ways to destroy us. One of their most obvious attacks is the constant barrage of bad news with which we are assailed.
Sometimes at yard sales or book stores, we have an opportunity to buy old magazines that purported then, as now, to be dedicated to "news". When we look at old issues, we find the same endless, ongoing, churning hysteria.
They sometimes seem hurt that we do not pay attention to them. But, like the little boy who cried wolf, in the fairy tale that's no longer told, their alarms are always false.
If we pay attention to them, they win. When we are alarmed, and react as they desire, they win more. We end up paying "protection" money for imaginary problems.
Arguing does little good. Pointing out their errors, past and present, does less. It just drives them deeper into error, and forces them to publicly say that there is validity in their error, which makes it harder for them to save their souls.
We must not be surprised or angry as we discover the depth of their lies. Of course they lie. That's all the poor, lost souls can do. We cannot straighten them out by arguing. Intellectually, they are a slightly less odiferous version of the homeless people who prefer to live under bridges. They want to lie, they like to lie, and that's what they've chosen to do.
The only thing we can do is love them. Pray for them. Most of all, ignore them. When we think of all the happy families there are who are happy because they ignore the endless doomsayers, we can see that ignorance of some things is a very worthwhile goal.

Self-righteousness, how it grows.
Temperance is always a desired state of being. Some seek and find it on their own. Others would like to, but do not.
Others like to impose temperance on those they regard as intemperate. The Women's Christian Temperance Union was able to impose temperance on our entire nation.
As a result, organized crime was able to corrupt most large cities and state governments dominated by big-city machines.
The WCTU was also interested in Protecting The Children. They began to work for agencies to increase the power of government in education, labor, nutrition. Busy, busy, busy.
Today, those who want to help the children figure prominently in Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
They go beyond getting drunk drivers off the road. By reducing the amount of alcohol that meets the legal requirement of "intoxicated", they make millions more people into lawbreakers. State budgets are balanced on the backs of the newly defined "drunken bum".
Just as those who profited from the WCTU's ability to pass laws always bought votes for Prohibition, today those who benefit from increased fines and jail terms support MADD.

Why Europe sank into apostasy. What we can do about it.
The earliest signs of Christianity in Spain date to 100-150 AD. By that time, Christian missionaries had reached much of Europe. The next 1500 years was spent consolidating, growing, and expanding the Roman Catholic Church.
Early writings list an astonishing number of schismatic cults. Every Church teaching was perverted as profiteers tried to replace virtually all Christian beliefs. The orthodoxy of the Roman Catholic Church expanded, despite, or because, of the attacks on it.
The first large-scale Protestant operation was a looter-oriented religion founded in the desert. By 700, it had brought large swatches of formerly Christian and near-Christian in North Africa and the Middle East under its control.
North of the Pyrenees, much of Europe held firmly to the Catholic Church.
Western Europe exiled the last of the looters in 1492, the same year the vast Americas were discovered. There, Spanish Christians discovered Babylonian religions whose vicious priests were sacrificing millions of helpless people.
Suddenly, The Church refocused its missionary effort on the millions of lost souls in the Americas. French missionaries went to Canada, to be routinely tortured and martyred as they converted the Indian nations. Spanish missionaries converted South, Central, and parts of North America. Missions were set up in India and the far east. In England, Catholic missionaries ministered to their own de-Churched people and were wiped out by the English government.
Since these missionaries left Europe, there were fewer to give various heretics the attention they needed. With no one to point out their errors, separatists grew in number and strength. Schismatics combined their energies with political opportunists. Soon, "national" religions began to replace the Church Universal. Then, religion itself was replaced by Giant Government, which combined the golden calf of the Hebrews with the self-glorification of the Greeks.
Today, the fragmentation is wonderfully complete. Those who wanted to use their free will to abandon their ancestral faith could do so with no one saying "Wait! Stop!" The collapse is obvious to all, yet Europeans are helpless to stop the long, slow fall.
Catholic Fundamentalists know that the only way Europe can recover is to return to The Church.
We, as Catholic Fundamentalists can help. We should work to demonstrate God's reality and power in our time by passing on to our European friends the simple notion that God can program in three dimensions.
That's why it is important that you, dear reader, share with others the idea that God can program particles. "New Road to Rome" explores this concept in some depth. It can be downloaded for free in the "Books" section.
Take a look at it. You'll find that it outlines the only way that some people can be reached. Maybe, the only way a continent can be saved.

Tell others about God to get Heaven Credits for yourself.
The most devout are the most selfish. Saints know, far better than we, that if they give, they get. Saints do not sacrifice their lives for nothing. They have been allowed to see inside the operation of a huge, incredibly complicated programming operation. They know more than we.
We may not be able to give up as much as a Saint, but only because we haven't seen as far into the workings of His program.
As some of you know, the idea that God can program in three dimensions is revolutionary. That idea brings all people to a better understanding of God, and brings those with a sense of history to Catholic Fundamentalism.
Bringing people closer to God affects beliefs. Beliefs change activity. Changes in activities affect cash flows.
Ultimately, to immerse oneself into Catholic Fundamentalism is to gradually leave the world. Few with established cash flows, in our or another religion, will ever recommend Catholic Fundamentalism.
It's up to us.

Higher education: the Devil's flypaper.
It's long been known that hard-working, decent conservatives have more children than selfish, self-centered leftists. Leftists know that, and understand that they must do something to keep from being outvoted by conservatives. So, they invented ever higher education and use it to turn as many conservatives' children as possible into the lost souls of the left.
From co-ed dorms to Godless curricula, higher education is carefully designed to destroy the basic truths and morals that have motivated the best of people since Noah. Higher education is controlled by those skilled at subverting truth. Generation after generation has been led to believe that God is not real, and, if He is real, He is certainly not judgmental, and pronouns referring to Him should not begin with upper case letters. Those so bamboozled vote accordingly.
Those working to undermine and destroy the children of loving, conservative parents design campuses and promote activities that make sex, drugs, alcohol, and meaningless activities cheaply available. They try mightily to destroy any thinking that leads to understanding cause and effect, sin and death. To them, innocence is an enemy that must be destroyed.
They work very hard to undermine the values of the Bible while glorifying government. Most of us are able to see that many in higher education are enemies of all that is good and decent. Anger is not the best response. We must recall that St. Columban, of sacred memory, described the contest of human life in two sentences: "Without a battle, there can be no victory. Without a victory, there can be no crown."
So, Catholic Fundamentalists do not hate the wretched, molesters of childrens' minds, though we know they control nearly every college and university. As the lost souls battle against truth, they give each one of us precious opportunities to stand up for truth. Without their attacks upon us and our children, how could we win our crowns?
By being the Devil's flypaper, they are doing God's work. Love the poor, damned fools. It's the only chance they have.

Three monkeys.
Hear No Evil, See No Evil, and Speak No Evil were sitting high up in a banana tree.
Hear No Evil: I heard that if monkeys have sex with too many monkeys, they will get sick and die, even though they are young.
See No Evil: I saw many dead monkeys that were young.
Speak No Evil: Those monkeys died because they ate bad bananas.
Hear No Evil: I heard that monkeys without mothers and fathers get wild, have to be thrown out of the group, and they die young.
See No Evil: I saw a bunch of angry, obnoxious young monkeys fighting with rocks and sticks. Some were bleeding.
Hear No Evil: Those young monkeys had just chosen to express themselves in a healthy way.
Hear No Evil: I heard that if monkeys try to help other monkeys, some will say "don't bother".
See No Evil: I saw some monkeys getting food for a sick monkey. A mean, old monkey said, "Give that food to me."
Speak No Evil: I said that.
After some thought, See No Evil and Hear No Evil moved to another tree.

Catholic Fundamentalists are slow to criticize.
Many sound, decent people have concluded that environmental extremists are disturbed and irrational. Some call them names like "tree huggers", "dead-brained wackos", "alarmists", "nutcases", and many other insulting things.
That, of course, reinforces their patterns of thought. Those calling the names are often as wrapped up in worldly things as those they insult. Others think that describing destructive beliefs as, well, "destructive" will help.
Catholic Fundamentalists do understand that environmentalists are wrong, overreacting, and, often, combine excessive concern with outright hysteria. Such simple, confused souls are usually on the left half of the bell curve. No matter how misguided and irrational, some of them do have true concerns about the well being of their neighbors. Others among the clamoring crowd have learned to adopt popular beliefs to appear to be more, or less, intelligent than they actually are.
But,
Environmental extremists are a far, far better class of people than those who use them. Most activists lack the wisdom to understand that, two or three levels above them, vastly smarter people provide money to fund the groups in which membership is carefully designed to give meaning to activists' lives, many of which have been emptied of deeper values by the constant machinations of the paymaster elitists.
Catholic Fundamentalists see the entire environmental movement as another migration of lemmings toward the bright lights of Bunyan's Vanity Fair. Those who lead the lemmings off the cliffs fall into far deeper depths than those who follow them down.
The pitiful followers of the Lemming Gods are drawn to what they are told are brighter lights and better times.
These simple souls are, in the words of The Son, "little ones". Of those who lead little ones astray, He was quite plain: "It would be better for them if a millstone were tied around their neck and they were thrown into the sea."

Taxes and trees.
Today, fifty percent of our income is taken from us to pay taxes. We can see how dangerous that is by considering the Interstate Highway System.
Taxes were raised to spend billions of dollars on Interstate Highways. Now, the highways are all built. Taxes have not gone down.
Before the Interstate Highways were built, taxes were raised for WWII and Korea. Those taxes have not gone down.
Locally, taxes were raised to build schools. After the schools were built and the bonds paid off, local taxes did not go down.
Taxes never go down.
In nature, sometimes trees do not have enough water, food, or shelter. It's limbs and leaves become a burden. Often, a tree will have a disease in a limb that spreads to the trunk. It is rare for the trees to drop off the limb or limbs that may be killing it. More often, the whole tree dies and falls over.
It is a rare government that is smarter than a tree.
